Undy Tournament 2020 - COVID-19 UPDATE

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and after careful consideration, the Undy Tournament 2020 is now cancelled. Our priority at this time is ensuring the safety of everyone due to attend and we feel this is the only appropriate course of action.

With the amount of uncertainty surrounding when the current crisis might be over it is extremely difficult to determine when we might be able to hold the event in the future. The logistics of running an event this large are such that it would be difficult to simply postpone rather than cancel. If the situation improves quickly we will consider running an event later this year but it may be that we have to look to 2021.

All teams who have already entered will be contacted asap to arrange refunds. If you entered online and paid via paypal the payment will be refunded back to your original payment method. If you paid by BACS or cheque we will contact you individually as we will need you bank details so we can send a bank transfer.

At the time of cancellation we have received 250 entries so processing all of the refunds will take a little time so please bear with us.

If you do not receive a refund within the next 7 days or you haven't been contacted please contact Karl Luton at karlluton@undyafc.co.uk

Rest assured that the Undy Tournament will return and we'll let everyone know as soon as possible.

In the mean time please have a look below at what happened at previous tournaments......

Our 2018 tournament was the biggest and best we have held to date and without doubt, it is definitely one of the biggest and best tournaments in South Wales with 240 teams and over 3000 visitors. We had another record breaking 4 days of football. More people and cars turned up, more teams than ever were involved and more burgers, sausages, ice-creams & lollies were eaten. YET AGAIN, OUR BIGGEST TOURNAMENT TO DATE!!!

The competitive tournament was also a great success and well done to the eventual winners of both the U12, U13, U14, and Combined U15/16 tournaments.

A big well done to all coaches, parents and volunteers who help make the event one of the best tournaments around and a big thank you to everyone who turned up and participated.

In 2014 we even had 10 Red Arrows fly past at 500 feet - just look at the video above. The other videos are a round-up of our 2016 and 2017 tournaments.
