Since my last notes we've had almost all the experiences you can get in Football !! 

We've won in the Welsh Cup on penalties after extra time & a last minute equaliser. We've lost in the Welsh Cup 6 - 5 ( no it's not Rugby ) in 90mins to Swansea University ( my tip to win our League ). We've ground out a decent draw away at Llantwit Major without a recognised keeper. Got thumped by Briton Ferry away on a cold Tuesday night & comfortably beat Cwmamman at home.

However all those results don't bare as much significance as our 2 - 2 draw away at Llanelli last Friday. It's proved to me that our lads can compete with anybody at this level. Llanelli are very much favourites with their expensively assembled squad for a quick return to the Welsh Premier League . For any neutrals at the game I'm sure you wouldn't have know which side was which . We matched their quality all over the park in what was a great advert for the JD Cymru South . If we can replicate that performance level week in week out then I fear nobody at this level.

 

We again play Friday evening this week, away at Taffs Well, & after watching them Saturday versus Cwmbran Celtic know we need to be at our best to secure three points and move into the Top Half of the Table. It would be great to see a large travelling support at what is now one of our more local away fixtures.

 

Saturday then sees our Christmas Fancy Dress Party so I'm sure the boys are keen to go into that on the back of three points & looking down the table at a few of the sides in and around us.
